The writer's concerns are all easily addressed by the simple addition of an open world communication system, which would not have the adverse effects which a matchmaking system would have. I agree with this, im hugely in favour of more communication options. Even If you are in favour or not of matchmaking im pretty sure everyone can still understand and want more ways to interact with other players. I think a good majority of players also echo that sentiment that with no match making we just need better overall communication to make up for it. If they don't rectify this by the time the game launches then i think it is fair for people to complain. TitanJockey TitanJockey 4 years ago 8 Matchmaking has zero adverse affects.

Halo 3[ edit ] In Halo 3, players can choose from two forms of matchmaking; ranked and social with each having different gametypes. Should they lose, no EXP will be given. However, if the player quits the game during a match, one EXP will be deducted from their account. Unlike Halo 2, if a party has a high variability of skill levels in the current playlist, it will acknowledge it as a "mixed party" and will attempt to match with another party or several parties of a similar mix of ranks between the players.
